Each year countless ferrets are abandoned by owners who are unprepared or unable to meet their needs. No ferret has ever been turned away for lack of space and many have found loving homes through our adoption and foster care programs.
You must do pre-adoption interview before being invited to come to shelter to see adoptable ferrets! Ferret Adoptions by Appointment Only!
Lane Area Ferret Shelter and Rescue provides shelter, care, and adoptions for stray, abandoned or otherwise unwanted ferrets. All services provided by appointment only! We also provide information about our favorite pet to anyone who asks. We hope that through education and contact, people will gain a better understanding of the domestic ferret as a fun and playful pet.
