Each year countless ferrets are abandoned by owners who are unprepared or unable to meet their needs. In the years since it began, the L.A.F.L shelter has taken in over 100 ferrets. No ferret has ever been turned away for lack of space and many have found loving homes through our adoption and foster care programs. Lane Area Ferret Lovers provides shelter, care, and adoptions for stray, abandoned or otherwise unwanted ferrets. We also provide information about our favorite pet to anyone who asks. We hope that through education and contact, people will gain a better understanding of the domestic ferret as fun and playful pet.
